This week Joseph and I had launched the first Multisensory Pop-up space in one of the phone booths on IDM floor. During the two hour period, we have 8 participants in total and received many constructive feed for a relaunch in two weeks.

Below are observation notes from some participants.

Person 1:

"wall, where you are facing, could use a little more things"

"strobe light could be more centered"

"i feel like i needed this. i was stressed before"

person 2: Refuse to participate

"i have spring allergies so taking in any more scent would [not be good for me.]"

Person 3: "you would need to have more of these"

Person 4(in reference to lavender scent)"this reminds me of my acupuncturist"

Person 5 "i am neurodivergent";listens to alpha and beta frequencies; theta frequencies to sleep; "classical music is too distracting"; needs sth to zone her in

Person 6

mention of audio meditation guide and limb concentration

(e.g. meditating on the thought of your leg)

Person 7: intrigued by big pharaoh toy; "healed my broken heart";”gave me a hug”

Person 8: seemed a little awkward when approached (could say sth about improving approachability and presentation); strobe light is a bit to beight, in my face; ”nice to take a nap in here”; soundproofing; “i definitely got lost in my thoughts”
